Teaching More Than Just Dance
Welcome to Amherst Dance Academy's website. We are glad you are here and want to invite you to take a look at our studio and all that there is to offer. Do you ever wonder why your child dances around the kitchen floor at every possible sound of music? Do they enjoy music so much so that they just can't sit down while listening? Dance is definitely an outlet for energy, but it is also a skill that can be taught. Dance is an opportunity to develop strength, discipline, teamwork, confidence, and to bring out natural talent. It also teaches life skills through hard work, dedication, and training. Whether you are a little tot almost turning 3yrs. old, or you are an adult looking for an alternative exercise idea, we would love to show you how to have a terrific time dancing with us.
We are located right in the town of Amherst, VA right next to Food Lion in the Mountain View Plaza and serve families from all around Amherst and surrounding areas: Madison Heights, Lynchburg, Nelson, Shipman, Buena Vista, Pleasant View, Charlottesville, and many more.
